That is so not true. I had to have both my babies via c section and my bonding was not ruined in any way. When asked if I was disappointed because I could not deliver naturally, I replied NO! I am just so? happy my baby was healthy. Why would I be disappointed? Sensitive mothers can be made to feel awful about themselves because of comments like yours. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but there are times when one should keep them to themselves.

It takes a good 3 weeks to heal? and get better, but youre not fully healed till 10+ weeks, just take it easy, make sure you get help for those first weeks, keep an eye on you wound, try not to walk around to much and get good nutrition. A good idea is to have youre mom of someone you know and trust to come live with you for a while, partners seem to stress out for awhile. Good luck being a mum is hard for a little while but then it gets easy and it so very rewarding. Love to you.

so true. really im scared 2 give birth, but not as scared 2 have someone just cut me open! i would not hav c section & then have 2 feel the pain and discomfort later! i would rather do it natural and deal with d pain once & not have 2 deal with it 4 weeks. its worth 2 go thru d pain 4 d kid. also i would give birth in d pool or something, u know those water births, i heard its less pain mostly? cuz ur not Laying on a bed & gravity interrupts whereas in a pool u sorta Sit & gravity helps.

I had the same problem.With my first they did the epidural and I could still feel a lot of what they were doing.At the end when cleaning out the uterus, it felt like someone had a metal wire? brush up my vagina into my uterus scrubbing.I had the spinal with my second and it was much better.I want a VBAC when I have another.This woman is full of crap!The recovery is PAINFUL and LONG.3 years after my last and I still have pain every now and then.I HATE C-sections.

I had a c-section with my last one (she is my 4th and I am expecting another baby due in Oct.) and they gave me the epidural and I still felt everything. I am hoping for a VBAC this time..otherwise I might ask for the spinal this time because I hear that they are supposed to work better for numbing than an epidural, even though? they don't put the catheter in for a spinal to give more meds if needs be like they do for an epidural!

How can you be happy not going through labour.. Its a bonding session..ITS NOT PAINFULL if you concerntrait on what your body is doing and what you want to happen it wont hurt or be painful... Birthing is nothing what? people say it is. Everyone is diffrent.. New mums should NOT be watching this.. Appauling attitude towards birthing. BIRTHING IS NOT A MEDICAL PROCEDURE! C-sections should be and absolute last resort...only emergencies.

I had my 2nd child by c-section after i wouldnt get past 3cm and his heart? rate kept dropping. my c-section was was horrible the pain afterwards was bad and i hated the pain. i am 10 month out from having my c-section and i still have pain in my lower stomach case of it. I would love to do a VBAC with my next baby. I had a vaginal birth with my 1st child.

My first c section-emergency and very nasty scary. I have a 9 day old daughter now (repeat cs) and this was another scary situation but got thru it. My blood pressure spiked before they got my spinal in and then lowered so low they thought they were gonna lose me. If you have problems with? blood pressure be careful to monitor yourself.

The incision pfanenstiel was too small and took too long to make, the? incision into the lower uterine segment was too small.Foreceps are almost never required inorder to deliver an infant.One of the so called surgeons said that the bladder had to be dissected off the uterus, Iam sure that she didn t mean that..That baby was man handled also it looks like those forceps were applied impropely.
