there are many messages in this movie. I think one of the central message in this movie is the failure to create a peaceful society because the problem lies in human nature itself. They tried to create a utopian rural kind of society to escape the chaos and criminality of modern living. However they couldn't escape the? violent, criminal side of human nature.

I loved watching this years ago but the end was disappointing. My family and I all felt tricked and cheated at the end. You`re led to believe things are one way, then you find out it`s? all been a lie. Now that I know how it ends though, I could probably appreciate it better. The acting was superb and the villagers had a good culture about them. Maybe the founders were trying to cultivate and preserve what was good in humanity before we lost our senses altogether.

I do not see this as a 'spiritual movie', but more a comentary on the improbablity of sustained Isolationism, the pwer of Superstition and the strenght of Man's constant desire to improve and innovate. The young cannot be kept long from striving to better themselves, their lives and their world. This drive maybe restrained, but it cannot be extinuguished. u idiot. i thought u would understand. its a twist ending! the whole "forest" thing is just to keep the experiment in. the experiment is the village! it is really in modern time, but the people in the? village think they are living in 1897 pennsylvania. the only people who know the truth are the experiment conductors and the elders of the village. the monsters arent real. there just creepy elders in cloaks to scare the townsfolk into staying in the village.

But in the end when the girl finds the road, there is a man with a modern car with walkie talkie and with modern clothes. Honestly, this has always been and, I think, will always be my favourite M. Night Shyamalan movie. It's such a beautifully haunting movie and, while I'd been hoping for a werewolf-beast/village showdown, the ending didn't disappoint me. the title is already there, you might have missed it, it's: "Those we don't speak of" - but usually ppl mix that up with "The Gravel road" or "What are you asking me? of". you can type in all 3 names and you'll probably find the right one. the 3 of them sound very similar to each other, good luck :)

I agree? that HE IS AMAZING--and he should have won the OSCAR for BEST ACTOR for Gladiator---he 'made' the movie---he was cruel, insecure, evil, scared, lonely, depraved, etc, etc, and only Phoenix could make Commodus real! Without his character, Gladiator would simply have been a story of 'revenge'...I think it's his greatest performance and one that no other actor would have pulled off so BRILLIANTLY

i, too felt dissapointed at first. but, i slowly realized why they went with the skill tree and the difficulty. they changed the skill tree because people found it way too hard changing skills back in d2. this also goes for pvp. you either had a pvp build, or you dont. as for the difficulty, don't worry. i have a lvl 30 dh on normal act 3, and? i can tell you act 1 was a piece of cake.

I like Diablo 2, but I hated the whole ``build`` system of it. You went online, looked for builds, spent the correct points at the correct levels, rince wash and repeat. I remember I had to spend 20 levels on ``meteor`` when I had a sorceress, now that`s restrictive lol. With Diablo 3, every level I get something new and fresh, I? get new ideas on how to mix the spells, etc. Anyway, I hope the game gets better for ya :P
