I'd be scared to be working and be pregnant, especially in your situation, I would just stay home for the sake of the baby and rest a lot...but that's just me. I can't believe how fast time has gone! Just a little opinion: Unless the doctor can show you that her placenta isn't functioning as it should (if she goes overdue), don't let them bully you into being induced. My fiancee and his brother were both 2 and 2 and a half weeks overdue, and both of them, and their little bitty momma? were fine! Because of her insurance, they kept her and the babies in the hospital longer than they really needed to be! She'll come out when she decides she's done cookin!

The nursery is so cute! Don't let the doctor scare you into inducing. In Sweden the time they start talking about inducing is 42+0 and we are fine over here. Nobody is dying :) As long as the heart rate is good,? she is moving and she is growing then she is just fine :) Go natural mama!

It depends on your job as to whether or not you get paid for maternity leave. If you have, say...an office job where you get benefits, paid leave, etc. then you can be paid for maternity leave. Where I work, I only work 30 hours a week, don't have? full-time benefits, etc. so I wouldn't get paid for any leave.

That's true! In Brazil we get payed for 6 months! Mothers don't have to go to work during 6 months because this is the time to breast feed the babies. Every company do that because it is the law. I feel sad when mothers only have such a small time to stay home with a newborn baby. Children at that age? need us more than anything.

i dont understand being an Australian when i? hear that you dont get payed maternity leave... we at least get payed a payment from the government of $5000.... use to be in a lump sum but now you get it fortnightly for 13 fortnights... so sad could not imagine only having a month with my new born the time flies so quickly

i had pitocin with my 2nd labour as my waters broke and nothing happend so i was given pitocin and my labour went very smoothly... 1? cm an hour and half way through i asked for a epidural as i had planned on asking for one and it was fine. I did not notice that the contractions were to painful.

I don't really agree with the 'I can't put her down because she will cry' comment lol but I guess that is just a personal opinion. I watched this with my elser sister raising three children and? she made a rod for her own back by doing similar things to Mandd, if a child has had all the care given by being fed, changed etc then I see no harm in letting he/she self settle, even if this means crying out. You are right I didn't know everything when I became a mum for the first time.. But I did read books about parenting and learnt how much sleep newborns should be getting during the day.. Just from experience I wanted to share that depriving a baby of sleep during the day doesn't necessarily mean they will sleep through the night.. Only makes them? less settled.. Nothing wrong with the advice that I gave or the other mums?

How long are you staying home untill you get back to work? In sweden everyone gets one year fully paid maternity leav and then you can deside yourself how you and your partner wants to chear that and then the father gets two weeks to stay home from the day you go into labor. When our girls was born I took all the days since i? was breastfeeding. Dont you have anything like that in the us so that you can stay home longer? Hoping for a safe and easy delivery for you! I just wanted to tell you that the rock n' play sleeper can cause torticollis and or a flat spot on the back of baby's head if the baby sleeps in the sleeper for extended amounts of time because of the angle of the sleeper and the lack of padding at the top of the sleeper, there's reviews on amazon where this happened to multiple mothers and they explained? their situation. I find my braxton hicks are hurting me alot this time around. Some of them are enough to really take my breath away. Your tummy looks so cute! Hey just wanted to let you know that the contraction's that your having are totaly normal! I get the EXACT same contractions! It literaly stops you in your tack becuase it hurts! I had them when I was pregnant with my son(whos now 3) And I have them in this pregnancy too. I'm 30weeks. 1 week behind you!! :) I talked to my dr about it, and he saied it's Braxton Hicks or just the position that baby is in. I was worried about it also because everyone says that they are not? suposto hurt. mine did!

Oh my gosh she is seriously? precious. Makes me want to cry. My little girl is 2 and you would not believe how fast the time flies. Seriously savor it because it is so damn fleeting. Try to remember through the sleepless nights how quick it will pass...oh my I am now baby hungry lol Also, don't you love those swaddle blankets? They are amazing! My munchkin was and still is such a squirmy worm and those helped her to not startle herself awake. Congrats she is so so beautiful!

I didn't use? a pacifier or a bottle- I went from breast to sippy cup! haha ( obviously- I dont recommend that- I just hated the plastic nipples!) Don't let people scare you into making parenting decisions that aren't ones you feel comfortable with. Its your baby and you have enough common sense to make good decisions. Obviously talking to your doctor is a must- but moms usually know best.. :)

LOL My first time breastfeeding my son, no one warned me about the opposite breast leaking. So after I fed him when my milk really came in- I stood up and my nightgown was soaked!! LOL, memories! Store that milk when you are getting close to ending your time breastfeeding. I was? able to give my son frozen milk warmed up for months with the amount i was able to store. So he was breastfeed about 12months and is one healthy & smart kiddo!

Youv'e hardly got a bump!! I was huge at 22 weeks. I'm now 35 weeks and feel like a whale haha very uncomftable? and out of breath. Really do enjoy your 2nd trimester because come mid 30weeks it starts to feel more like hard work than it being enjoyable!xxx

I just subscribed to your channel. Congratulations on your baby girl! I just had my boy in March and watching you go through this amazing journey is brining back wonderful memories for me. For the constipation, drinking more water helps with the constipation. The lower pelvic pains you were describing sound like ligament? pain or the baby moving around down there. I remember when I was further along with my son, he would move around near my cervix and that would feel weird too. Good luck!!

and you will continue to have them as your? tummy grows. Also if your feeling sharp pains in your cervix, my OB said it can be movement, or streching of the uterus/cervix area. I usually had that pain from around 32 weeks on, I personally call it Lighting Crotch...LOL, cause that's what it feels like! Again Congrats and Merry Christmas!!

Hi, I just found your channel, First off Congrats on your upcoming birth! I have 5 children, 16, 13, 11, deceased, and our only daughter who is 5 months old. The constapation can be helped with stool softners, just? ask your OB. I had constapation BAD. I took softners, ate dried and fresh fruit for snacks, drank juice and water a lot. I also put fresh spinach (high in fiber) in a lot of my meals. Kiwi is also high in fiber. The pain you are feeling more than likely are round ligiments pains

Congratulations! Your vids remind me of the best time of my life - pregnancy with my son Chris. For the stretch marks - they won't appear if the skin is moisturized? enough. I personally have very little and very few stretch marks but I was surprised they appeared just few days after the labour so don't forget to moisturize the skin also after the labour until your skin comes back to its normal condition. Of course genes have a lot to do with the appearance of the stretch marks.

Oh! As for constipation- My doctor prescribed a prenatal for me with a stool softener in it and something else in it for constipation. It? has helped a ton. There are lots of constipation remedies. Don't be embarrassed to ask your doctor!

I hate the feeling that an arm or leg is going to come out!! On the constipation eat a ton of fruit and nuts, and you can take OTC stool softeners,? drink tons of water, and this sounds weird but really relax on the toilet lol, and let your mouth relax and hang open. There is a correlation between the jaw muscles and the muscles in the 'down there' area, you can google Ina May sphincter law for more info and explaining on that. Fish oil capsules are also good for this problem, taken orally daily.

I'm on number 4 right now but with my last one I went overdue. I accidentally grabbed Caribbean Jerk for steak marinade, not knowing it was spicy....(I'm super sensitive to spicy foods btw). The socks look stretchy if so they will work longer then the size it gives. Baby gap and old navy have the best long lasting socks. They usually r stretchy socks and they last longer.? Btw I'm new to ur channel. I love it. I went thru fertility for 4 years and now have 3 sons. So congratulations and I look forward to more video's:)

I think what you? paid overall for what you got wasn't that bad. My pediatrician always said baby shoes can actually delay the learning process of walking and that bare/sock feet are best until they start cruising (walking holding on to things). I'd probably return the shoes, but everything else is nice! And for Calvin Klein, I'd say that's a good deal on the outfits since Gap, etc usually costs the same if not more than that.

I think people hit most of the points, but here goes. Keep one of the black pairs of shoes and return the rest. They are cute - I bought some for my daughter and she didn't use any of them! Our pediatrician said she shouldn't be in shoes until she starts walking as they need bare feet to learn how to stand etc and most aren't? wide enough.The pants are a GREAT deal! WTG! The outfits are awesome - just as you said, they can be mixed/matched. Wish they had them in 3T here. :) Good shopping trip. :)

I think you did great with the outfits! For me and my son, shoes were not worth the trouble. First of all, they are super hard to get on since they're always kicking. Second, since they're always kicking, the shoes come off really easily. We'd be in a store and I'd look down and he'd only have one shoe on, meaning we lost the other shoe somewhere in? the store. Your baby may be different, but I just stuck with socks and doubled them up in the cold months.

The socks in the 3 to 12 months size....look about right to me! I don't think you overpaid for stuff either! The Calvin Klein were a bit pricey....but Gymboree, Children's Place and Baby Gap are more expensive than THAT! Also...it is a good? idea to buy the more expensive outfits in larger sizes because the older they get....the longer they stay in one size! So...25 bucks for an 18 month outfit is better value than paying that much for a 3 month outfit!

Really cute stuff! The only thing I would suggest is....make sure you are buying seasonal appropriate sizing when buying the larger sizes!! You don't want to end up with winter clothing fitting her in the summer months! As for shoes...you might just have too many pairs in that? small of a size! Her feet will grow too fast to get the wear out of them! Usually you don't put shoes on a young baby except for special occasions! But..hey...your call...they are ALL so cute...it's hard to resist them!

oh wow, you did VERY well! you're so right about the jacket/pant sets being staples. i almost always buy jackets and pants ahead of time, whenever i find a really good deal because they can be such pricey items to replace. plus, they'll eventually need them, so why? not?

Sorry to burst UR bubble but U have to have a HE washer for that soap :/ U can still use a regular washer with the soap but? U'd have to use A LOT more of the soap than it says on the instructions. I would return it because UR only gonna' get a few washes out of that product.
