@neikaplay Hey! I didn't get it all out. I used Paul Mitchell Shampoo Three, which got a lot of it out, then I colored it with Bigen to Cover the rest. Now i wash it more often and rinse extra well to prevent anymore. it turned out not? to be lint. it was conditioner buildup.

I didn't. I found out that it was build up from not rinsing the conditioner well. I got a lot of it out? with Paul Mitchell 3 shampoo, then colored them. Now I just make sure that I rinse them very thoroughly.

I have a feeling that's going to be my baby girl in a year and two months!! My daughter's part falls very similar to your daughter's, kind of to the side! Lil T inspired me to finally loc my baby's hair after going back and forth for years. I had locs for 8 years and am on my 2nd set now so it's not new to me. Your hair looks nice. I have a severe issue with buildup. In the back throughout a few locs and at the bases of some. I have tried ACV and vinegar which helped. Do you have any other suggestions? Did you try the clay again? Also do you think dyeing my hair would hide the build up or make? it worse? sorry to ask so many questions but I have considered cutting of my locs. It seems we started ours around the same time. My 3 yr anniversary is March 1

I think when ur bleaching you should dye the ends? then work your way up to the scalp. I think that the heat from your scalp helps the dye to take quicker. Which is something I must remember when dyeing my hair next time :-)

Hey! I twist every 2 months. For me, my hair grows better and thicher when I semi-freeform that way. Now, that doesn't mean that every two weeks is too often? for you. I know a lot of youtubbers who twist every two weeks and their locs are healthy and beautiful. I just say, pay attention to your hair and if it's not reacting well to twisting so often, adjust acordingly. The only thing that I have done differently is that I have been taking a multi-B vitamin.

If it brings more traffic to your site and more people purchasing and talking about the wonderful things you are doing then I will be happy to know that I helped in some way.... the twistout technique is a bit tricky at first. I had to watch that video a bunch of times. I finally got it once I thought of it as the right loc? crossing over top of the left loc then back under the left loc, then you twist in opposite directions (for me it was an overhand twist instead of underhand)

Im not an expert so I can only tell you about my experience. I purchased the honey blond by dark n lovely. I followed the directions on the box and left the dye on for only 20 minutes or so. My hair turned out ORANGE!!! I immediately called my stylist and she told me that when you are a naturally dark? haired person, your hair has to lift through color phases before it gets to blonde. It goes from black to brown, to red, to orange, then to blond. So if you do it you will need to let

Hey gurl! Abt the hair dye it will not look like that. It will be darker as usually those colors are tested on lighter hair. However, my suggestion would be that you put the dye as far down from your roots first and then? work up. Reason being, box dyes have different colors mixed in them to make that shade and new growth hair (hair closest to the scalp) will turn faster than any locd portion and if you start at the scalp first, it has a tendency to give off a orangey tone.
